The kids are so cute... but the parents' issues have totally made this show fall past the apex. It's just too depressing where it used to be adorable.

Did you know I directed a short...
... with no discernable story? That's what happens when you don't have any writers on your 48 film team. Somehow we won awards.
Update: ok, so it's come to my attention that this "film" will elevate out of the trash bucket and into the compost pile if viewers have a little more background on its production. This short needed to be written, shot and edited in 48 hours as stipulated by the rules of the National Film Challenge. It had to include a specfic line of dialogue, a specific character, and be in a specfic genre.
The conditions were pretty limiting when you combined all three. So what were the specific things?
TJ Heinshwartz, rock star was the character
"can I touch it?" was the line
and we had to make a detective/cop film
Oh and all the music had to be original, all the locations had to be cleared, and it had to be less than 9 minutes long. And you wonder why I'm seen wearing a women's jacket from jcrew?
Funfact! The "police station" is actually Fenway Park.
